I am really sorry to hear of Buds death after such a long and debilitating illness. Grrr hid a lovely man behind the mask. Penny

On meeting Bud for the first time I was in awe of his knowledge of the game of bridge . He gave encouragement to those that required it and with me must have been at times felt so frustrated as my tech skills were so bad but he never got cross just smiled. I came to admire him and will miss him very much when the club is open again. My thoughts are with his family at this sad time . Ann
